Confession time. I got hooked on The B-52's because of Rock Lobster. Roxy Music were introduced to me by a dear friend in college. Although I heard one of their earlier tracks in Time Square Soundtrack album. Blancmange were part of the '80s synth-pop movement and we had a fun time guessing the correct pronunciation to the band's name.
