Grace Jones released an album last year entitled Hurricane, her first in 20 years. She started her music career in the seventies and I would say she probably inspired a lot a female artists who came after her. Those outrageous costumes, her huge gay following, androgyny and pumping dance music must have influenced superstars like Madonna and Annie Lennox and new artists like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. I found an old clip of her 1978 hit Do Or Die and the music video of her first single Corporate Cannibal from her new album Hurricane. Enjoy !
