




I admit that I have been lagging behind on the latest news on upcoming movies since I haven't been going to the cinemas quite often. The last movie I saw was actually 2010. So when I decided to do some youtube-ing, here are some trailers I uncovered. Enjoy...
1. The Last Airbender - The Last Airbender is an upcoming 2010 fantasy film written, directed, and produced by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense). It is a live-action film adaptation of the first season of the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, which has its influences from Asian art, mythology, and various martial arts fighting styles. The first of a planned trilogy, the film, starring Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, and Dev Patel, will be marketed and released by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies on July 2, 2010.
2. Avatar - Avatar is an upcoming 3-D science fiction epic film directed by James Cameron (Titanic), due to be released on December 16, 2009 by 20th Century Fox. The film is Lightstorm Entertainment's latest project, and focuses on an epic conflict on a far-away world called Pandora, where humans and the native species of Pandora, the Na'vi, engage in war over the planet's resources and existence.
3. Clash Of The Titans - Clash of the Titans is an upcoming 2010 fantasy film which is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name, itself loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Sam Worthington. Filming began in April 2009 for release on March 26, 2010.
4. Alice In Wonderland - Alice in Wonderland is an upcoming 2010 fantasy film directed by Tim Burton. It is an extension to the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will use a technique combining live action and motion capture technology. Mia Wasikowska will play the role of Alice, alongside Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, and Crispin Glover as The Knave of Hearts. The film is due for release on March 5, 2010.
5. A Nightmare On Elm Street - A Nightmare on Elm Street is an upcoming 2010 American horror film written by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick, directed by Samuel Bayer, and produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. It is a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 slasher film of the same name and designed to reboot the franchise.[2] The film stars Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger, a role made famous by Robert Englund, while Rooney Mara takes over the role of Nancy Thompson, originally portrayed by Heather Langenkamp. The remake is set to release on April 30, 2010.
6. Toy Story 3 -Toy Story 3 is an upcoming 2010 computer-animated 3-D film being produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the third installment in the Toy Story series and is slated for release on June 18, 2010, in the United States. Lee Unkrich, who edited the previous films and co-directed the second, takes over as director. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have been confirmed to return to voice the characters of Woody and Buzz respectively.
